Me and My Mission
About Me
Hi! My name is Sofia Schiavon. I'm a sophomore act an International IB school in northern Italy. Every year, the students in my grade get the opportunity to do something called personal project. Our job is for each student to conduct a research project over the course of the school year about a topic they're passionate about. Ever since I was little, I've been passionate about equality, women's rights specifically. With everything that's been going on in the world recently, I knew that I wanted to center my project around feminism and equal rights.

My mission is to spread feminism. I want to educate people on why it's important to support the movement.Â
I used to live in Texas and I know all too well the outdated ideologies people have. I grew up hearing sexist remarks, racist slurs, and homophobic jokes shouted in the hallways. Because I know how harmful these things can be, I'm doing all that I can to educate people and revere hate.
